Once all the bits were nicely blasted it was time to paint them. This involved a very lengthy process with POR15 which works very well, but has to be recoated when the first coat is touch dry but with finger drag.

After giving them a good going over with POR15 Metal Ready it was 2 coats of Por15 Rust Preventative Paint followed by 2 coats of POR15 Chassis Coat Black. With a wait time of between 2 and 4 hours for drying it was going to be a long day.

The results are quite rewarding once done.

As note to myself the next time I must spend more time masking the important parts as I ended up stripping off nearly as much paint as a put on
